David Lock has been Chairman of Sea Harvest Australia (and its predecessor entity Mareterram limited) since November 2017, having previously been Managing Director and CEO for two years.
Prior to that he was, for twelve years, the managing director of privately owned agribusiness company Craig Mostyn Group, which has livestock, rendering and seafood processing plants in WA, Victoria and Tasmania.
He is currently Deputy Chairman of Water Corporation, a director of CBH Group Limited, Chairman of Odeum Produce Pty limited, a member of Board of Trustees of Marine Stewardship Council in London, UK, and Chair-elect of the Advisory Council for Curtin University’s Faculty of Business and Law. He chairs the Audit and Risk Committees for Water Corporation, CBH and MSC.
Previous board roles include being chairman of Australian Pork Limited, the WA Meat Industry Authority and the Food Industry Association of WA and a director of Food, Fibre and Land International Pty limited.
In 2012, Mr. Lock was recognised as the NAB Agribusiness Leader of the year and in 2013 was inducted as an Australian Export Hero by the Export Council of Australia. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
