Felix Ratheb
Group Chief Executive Officer
Felix Ratheb has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with an MBA and has more than 18 years of experience in the FMCG and fishing industries. He joined Sea Harvest in 2003 and was appointed CEO in 2013. In 2017 Felix led the listing of Sea Harvest on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, and subsequently guided the growth of the company.
He was involved in the acquisition and subsequent listing of Australian agri-business Mareterram Limited on the ASX and the eventual delisting in 2019. Felix serves as Chairman of the South African Hake Deep-Sea Trawl Industry Association (SADSTIA) and is a Board Member of the largest whitefish conference globally, the Groundfish Forum. He was also a Trustee on the Board of the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) from 2016 until 2019.

Richard Duncan
Chief Operating Officer
Richard Duncan is an experienced finance professional across a range of industries, including telecommunications, distribution, manufacturing and agribusiness. He was previously CFO at AllightSykes Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Seven Group Holdings and was previously Group Financial Controller and Assistant Company Secretary at iiNet Limited.
He was also Financial Services Manager at Recall Australasia, formerly a division of Brambles Limited. He holds a Bachelor of Business with a double major in Accounting and Finance and is a Fellow of Certified Practising Accountants and Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia.

Demetri Demosthenous
General Manager Commercial
Demetri has over 30 years’ experience in the seafood industry working in Australia and trading internationally. He began his career working in the family seafood businesses and then went on to work in major retail and training/merchandising, export development & sales management.
Working as a seafood procurement/importer and trader for over 11 years, Demetri moved into the Australian Aquaculture industry working with Ocean Barramundi farming & marketing the range to the world.
Demetri’s background, enriching career, and knowledge gleaned from global partners brought him to Sea Harvest Australia as General Manager Commercial in 2018.

DARYL ELMER
GENERAL MANAGER FISHING
Daryl has been in the Fishing industry most of his life. Originally from New Zealand where he first got experience in fishing vessels, he moved to Australia after his overseas experience and has worked for several large Fishing Companies in South Australia, Queensland, and WA.
Along the way Daryl armed himself with a General Management degree from Macquire University, Project Management Certificates, Processing/Quality certificates and surrounded himself with people that provided specialist skills within the fishing sector.
In his 35 years in Australia, he has experienced all areas of the Seafood chain from fishing, processing, wholesale, and retail involving most of the species that make up Australian Fisheries.
Daryl came on board with Sea Harvest Australia in 2022 from the MG Kailis acquisition and heads up the Australian Fishing operations as General Manager.

John Atkinson
Senior Human Resources Manager
Some 34 years later and armed with Diplomas in Human Resources, Business Management and a Certificate in General Management acquired at Macquarie University, John is well positioned to manage the human capital requirements of Sea Harvest Australia. Whilst John’s is a generalist HR position, safety at sea and the procurement and retention of quality people throughout the organisation is seen as two of the more significant requirements of the position.
John is grateful for the seamless transition to Sea Harvest Australia in 2022, whereby a strong set of values continue to underpin a positive workplace culture.

TRAVIS SHEEHY
BUSINESS MANAGER – MARINE ENGINEERING
Travis has worked in the marine engineering industry since he commenced a Refrigeration apprenticeship at age 15.
Travis joined Kailis Marine Engineering as an apprentice and progressed through to supervisor. He left the business to pursue an Operations Manager role in the oil and gas industry.
After 6 years, Travis returned to Fremantle as a project manager for Kailis Marine (Sea Harvest Marine) and rejoined the company in June 2016. He now heads up the Marine Engineering Division as Business Manager.
